Backlinks, or sometimes called reciprocal links, have become the latest focus for many webmasters and affiliate marketers trying to gain high positions in organic search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. These back links can be very effective for giving your website additional exposure and monetizing off of free traffic. It takes some effort and time, but well worth it. Spending a little time each day on some simple steps, you could very easily have over 100 new links to your website in 30-45 days. The general idea is to find a website that has similiar products, services or content that relates to your website and contact the webmaster and request that they place a link back to your website. In return for the link back to your website, you inform the webmaster that you will place a link back to their website. The actual link could be on their link partners page or anywhere they prefer. The higher the Page Rank is for the page they place your link, the better. Want to know how many website are linking back to you? As you start your back link campaign, you can use the Backlink Builder on Webconfs.com to find quality linking partners by keyword. Use your own variation and see what works best for you. Spend time each day and you'll be surprised by how much more traffic you receive. Another very good method of gathering potential linking sites is to regularly visit newsgroups and discussion boards in the niche you are trying to market in. Read all the posts and cultivate a list of sites that may be interested in linking with you. |
